Remembering Mother Easwaramaa and Matru Pitru Puja

Om Sri Sai Ram.

On 5th May 2020, the Balvikas children and their parents, along with the Balvikas Gurus of Kandivali Borivali Dahisar samithi, organised an online programme, in celebration of the auspicious Easwaramma week.

The event started with the chanting of the Vedam and Stotram, which followed with a video presentation featuring photographs of all the Balvikas families. Next on the list was a series of stories about great mothers like Jijabai (mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj), Bhagabati Devi (Mother of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar) and our beloved mother Easwaramma.

Then followed the beautiful celebration of the 'Matru Pitru puja' by the children, along with the divine chants of the Ashtotras. The evening ended with an Oath taking ceremony and cultural programme by the children.

We had a huge participation of over 300 members of the Balvikas families (including the parents and children). The rest of the devotees could witness this beautiful programme online on Youtube. Considering the total reach, Swami's blessings were received by more than 1000 devotees from over 400 families.

You can also watch the recording of the programme on the link below.
